Q - Who should list in Health-e-Directory?
A - Australian businesses (or businesses with a presence in Australia) who provide information, communications or technology (ICT) solutions to the healthcare industry. Solutions may be products or services or both. Please select 'Browse' to view relevant categories to see if your organisation would benefit from listing.
Q - Who CAN list in Health-e-Directory?
A - Currently only organisations with a valid Australian Company Number (ACN) or Australian Business Number (ABN). Please do not proceed to List with Us otherwise.
Q - Do I have to pay to list my business?
A - No, there is a standard (free) listing option available. However, you are restricted as to the amount of information you can enter about your company, product or service. Paying listees would therefore appear more frequently in search results as there is more comprehensive product information captured from these businesses
Q - How do I create a listing?
A - In the main website navigation (top right) click on the List with us link above. If you are unsure which package is best for your company, please download the sales brochure or contact our National Advertising Manager elaine.starkey@chik.com.au for further information.
Q - What if I have missed this year's print publication? Can I still opt for a paying package?
A - Yes, you can pay to list at any time and your listing will be published in the following year's print publication of the Health-e-Directory. You will still get benefits of more prominent presence on the website in the meantime so if you are thinking about taking out a paid listing, you don't have to wait till you are contacted about the next print edition.
Q - I want to change the content of my listing.
Go to the Login page and enter your username and password. If forgotten, follow the steps to retrieve these. These details will be automatically resent to the email address that is included in your user details. If the content was originally administered by somebody else in your company, you will need to contact us to have your user details reset.
Q - I can't find a company I'm looking for and know they have listed.
A - Try using the keyword to search on all or part of the company name. Some companies run two words together as part of the name; they may be listed under an acronym. Alternatively try a browse of categories.
Q - My company is not appearing on a keyword search where it should be.
A - The keyword option searches the many text fields in the directory including company name, executives, company details, product or service name, description etc. It does not search the categorical fields (fields that have been entered by listees via drop-down menus or tick boxes) such as product/service categories, healthcare settings, quality rating, current exporter. You can search some of these fields using Advanced search filters. Browse option also provides access to organisations via the category hierarchy.
Q - I have just added a Corporate listing and my listing isn't appearing.
A - CHIK Services must first approve paid listings before they are published. If you have a query about whether your company has paid for the current year's listing, please contact accounts@chik.com.au
Q - My company is not appearing under the categories where it should be.
A - Please login to management system and check you have selected some categories. This is available from the company details page for standard (free) listings and on the product/services page(s) for paid listings. Check you have set the Approval status on the product or service page from 'pending' to 'approved' status.
Q - My products / services are not appearing under my company search results when I have done a search on my company.
A - only products that match the keyword in your search will display. If you want all your products to display whenever your company name is used as keyword, you will need to add your company name as keyword into either the product name or somewhere in the product description. You should also apply a 'name' to your product or service as this is what displays in the Search Results page.
Q - When I drill-down to view company detail from results page, sometimes there is none.
A - If the company has opted for a standard (free) listing, there is a limted amount of information they can enter. Company contact details including website information is available for further follow-up.
Q - my banner is not linking to my company page where other companies' banners are.
A - the banner should be supplied with a click-through URL. Please contact your banner designer or web developer to rectify. Alternatively please contact the Health-e-Directory web developer support@chik.com.au who will be happy to create or modify banners for Health-e-Directory customers for a service fee.
Q - Some companies have products to select for comparison; some don't.
A - Not all companies who are able to do so have entered their product level information. If they have not, there will be no product for comparison. Similarly, if the company has opted for a standard (free) listing, there is a limted amount of information they can enter. Similarly, if you have searched using keyword and the product / service level information does not contain the keyword, it will not display.
Q - I have saved some products for comparison but when I go to the comparison page, there is no focus area to select.
One or more focus areas will only appear if you have selected products/services that have at least one category in common. Please go back and review the product detail to see which categories have been listed against the selected products or services.
